Contest Idea Contest - Win Some Japanese Kit Kats

As you can see, I have a ton of Kit Kats, Pringles and other goodies. There are two and three layers in this cabinet, not just what you see in the front. We eat them (well, I smell them because I don't like chocolate), don't get me wrong, but it's time to start making room for more flavors coming out. I'm still going to keep part of my collection, but just one of each flavor.
Help me make more room. You, loyal (and new) readers can help me, and in turn you'll get to indulge in what you've read and seen pictures of here.
I've decided to have a contest to help me declutter this cabinet, but can't think of a contest. So that'll be the contest: submit a contest idea by commenting at the end of this post. Don't worry if you don't have an account with Blogger.com, just select "Anonymous" and sign your first name at the end of your comment. I'll choose my favorite, and the person who submitted the idea will get a package from me with some goodies from the newly deemed "Katie's Kit Kat Kabinet."
Make your contest idea conform to these guidelines:
-Not too easy or difficult
-Keep it clean/family friendly language
-Entrants can be world wide
-No limit on entries
Submit your idea (by leaving a comment in this post) within the next seven days. Contest begins as soon as this is posted and closes one week from today - that'll be April 24th 10 am JST, April 23rd at 9 pm EST. Winner will be announced the evening of April 24th (JST), so those you in the U.S. will see it the morning of the 24th. Be sure to check back for updates and the winning idea!
After I pick the winning contest idea, we'll then have a contest using that idea, and the winner of the second contest will get a box of goodies from me.

*As an added bonus, I'm going to have a drawing on April 24th. The names in the pot will be my followers. Right now there are 71, so become a follower and you'll automatically be entered! You'll see the Followers gadget in the side bar on the right side of the page and can add yourself there.

Have people send you in haiku's about candy. Now that is appropriate!!!

I guess it should be haiku's about Kit Kats!

Make us guess the number of pieces of candy in the picture you posted. The person closest wins!!

Have people send you in pictures dressed like a kit kat or their favorite snack food.

I love the haiku about candy idea!

How about a once page essay on what was your weirdest candy moment ever. It could be about how your engagement ring was embedded in chocolate, or when the entire bag of Halloween candy melted in your trunk, or some freaky chocolate-covered bug you ate on safari. But, it has to be true, and pictures will give you extra points.

How about coming up with new flavor ideas? The one that is the most creative or delicious wins :0)

You have a lot of Kit Kats in your collection that I have not been able to get my hands on.

Doh, the coming up with new Kit Kats flavours idea is already taken! How about guess the number of Kit Kat packages in your closet then?

HOLY COW KATIE! I had no idea you had collected so many LOL!!! What a riot!

I like the idea about writing a Haiku about the Kit Kats...

I'll see if the kids can come up with anything....

I posted on my FB about it and I'll blog about it as well.

Have people tell you why they like your blog so much. They can post it as a blog on their own blog (if they have one).

Something smells funny. Guess which KitKat flavor I decided to microwave!

Have a contest where people come up with recipes to use various Kit Kats. Not easy stuff like over ice cream, but in casseroles and crushed over green beans.

Winner winner chicken dinner!

How about just donate all of it to a school or library or day care, in a special type of program like who can come up with the best poem about kit kats, or they can come up with new flavors they would like to see in stores and they get rewarded with one piece of candy or more depending on their own contest rules, like 1st place 2nd, or 3rd place. This may encourage kids to get creative in different ways. And for younger kids, this may just be a reward for listening or behaving better. And you have so much you can donate in different areas! GOOD LUCK!

How about a blog scavneger hunt. You pick things in your blog and we have to find the blog date they were posted or title of the particular post.

Oh gee....you want me to use my brain???

How about if you have people post their favorite Katie story--whether we've met you in person or online, everyone has something they remember most about you. Depending on how many prizes you want to give away, you could have categories--funniest Katie story, sweetest Katie story, best first meeting story, Katie's blondest moment, for example.

My idea is have the contestants childrem, nieces or nephews..write a short essay on how they would make this world a better place and what they could do in thier own home town to make a difference. Submit the essays to you and which ever one you and your family deem worthy of the ohhh so yummy KitKat bars wins.

The purpose of the contest is to get rid of your collection to make room for more. Why not give it to the highest bidder on ebay. I'd be interested to see how much it would go for...

My idea would be to have a certain number of items in a bag and then we would need to guess the weight of the bag of goodies. You would not tell how many items are in there but you would need to photo the front and the back.

Have a photo contest of the messiest face eating a KitKat.

I think you should have people guess how many kit kats you can stack like building blocks before they topple over. This idea comes from my 8 year old son who loves kit kats!!!

Since you always post about all the cool vending machines in the area you should have people post a picture of their favorie vending machine item they can find in their area. Item must be still in vending machine.
